i LOVE the holidays.
here's a photo recap...
just DAYS before Christmas, we got almost 2 ft of snow! it was awesome.
Christmas Eve Eve rolled around, and Daniel and I couldn't stand it a moment longer, so we gave each other one stocking stuffer. =)
Then, on Christmas Eve we read to each other from Isaiah, Luke & John. We gave each other one present.
I gave Daniel his favorite kind of shirt - and it has RED on it, so he could wear it on Christmas day!
I was SO surprised by my gift =P
back in November, Daniel snagged me two boxes of Samoa Girl Scout cookies - my all time favorite - and saved them for me for Christmas. too fun.
so then we spent early Christmas morning together, just the two of us...
...plus jack =D he devoured his Christmas goodie in about 5 minutes. sheesh.
this was my favorite wrap job of daniel's. we decided that it looked like a chipotle burrito with one little curly-Q of ribbon on it. heehee!
this is a lot of photos already, so i'll post pics of other Christmas stuff later.
my biggest Christmas news is that inside the BEAUTIFUL leather journal that daniel gave me was a note. there is a week-long dance intensive in houston in march that we've been talking about going to and - drum roll - in the note, he told me he's taking me! i'm super excited. the company, Dance Ad Deum, is one i've been eager to scope out for years. i've taken classes from the artistic director, and i adore dancing his choreography. PLUS it'll be such a nice getaway for the two of us.

Looks like your Christmas was merry indeed - so excited the fun is continuing. Hey!!! Let me know when you're going to be in Houston, you'll be 3 measly hours away from me so we better get together!! I have good friends in Houston so I can just drive down and stay with them and hook up with you whenever it's convenient - it's a WIN WIN. Can't wait to see you!!

cool!! =D i talked to daniel, and we're excited to see you! i'll just be dancing every day during the day, so pretty much any night that week we could get coffee with you (and alana...? hope so). i'll post this on your blog, too, so you for sure get it.
